So we've decided to bite the real estate bullet and put our house on the market... and attempt to buy a larger home (then our 1200 sq. ft. charmer) that we both love and can afford. We have determined this decision to be like the to have a baby... we will never have "enough money", we will always be "too busy" and we need to just go for it. This is the pep talk I am giving myself everyday from here on out.
I am telling you this so you have a little background information as to why I will be a stressed out ball of nerves for the next ____ months.
Build? Pre-Owned? Anderson? Eastgate? Milford? Batavia?
uuuuuuuugh.

Unless you want that ball of nerves to explode into festering open wounds, I would suggest against building... I've never dealt with anyone who was pleased with that process...between costs, delays, weather, dealing with builders, fine-tuning umpteen hundred details and the need for daily/hourly/minute-by-minute oversight of the project... it's not a thing for those who are already stressed, budget-conscious, averse to confrontation and very very busy... just my 3.5 cents...
